The following tests were performed on a Gumstix Overo Fire/Tobi system running the OMAP3 r11 Gnome image from this site. The roof file system was ext3 on an 8GB Class 6 Trancend microSD card. LTPThe Linux™ Test Project is a joint project started by SGI™ and maintained by IBM®, that has a goal to deliver test suites to the open source community that validate the reliability, robustness, and stability of Linux. The LTP testsuite contains a collection of tools for testing the Linux kernel and related features. The results from building and running the December 2009 Stable version of the test on r11 are available here. Failed tests are under investigation and the goal for future releases is to pass this test with no failures. GtkPerfGtkPerf is an application designed to test GTK+ performance. It runs a set of predefined GTK+ widgets (opening comboboxes, toggling buttons, scrolling text yms) to benchmark performance. The results from building and running GtkPerf 0.40 on r11 are available here. cairoperfCairo is a software library used to provide a vector-graphics-based, device-independent API. The Cairo package includes a set of performance tests. The results from building and running the Cairo 1.8.8 performance tests are available here. IOzoneIOzone is a filesystem benchmark tool. The benchmark tests file I/O performance for a wide variety of file system operations including:
read, write, re-read, re-write, read backwards, read strided, fread, fwrite, random read/write, pread/pwrite variants, aio_read, aio_write, and mmap. |
